Terminals provide information and entertainment
The technologies present in the iBowling lane terminals fascinate any bowler.
The Terrestrial Multi-Function Terminal (TMT) has the highest technology focused for entertainment. It has an user friendly graphic interface, flatscreen 15" LCD, and touch-screen technology, eliminating completely the use of the keyboard. Thus, by simply touching the screen, it is possible to access all the lane control functions.
The system consists of a wizard that guides the player through all the game phases. The software allows to choose between several languages, such as English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and more. Any foreign tourist will feel at home in your Imply® Bowling Center, operating the lane in the language of his choice.
The software allows to send messages from one lane to another, or from the Central to the lanes. In addition, through a touch on the screen, the player may request bar service, which increases up to 40% the snacks and drinks purchases, and offers more comfort to the players. The Terrestrial Terminal also allows to broadcast text messages scrolling on the bottom of the screen. Configurable by the Management Central, the messages may disclose promotions, events and institutional information.
Besides the TMT, the iBowling lanes also have 32" LCD Overhead Displays, providing a modern design for your bowling decoration. The 32" flat LCD monitors display the score of the lane and TV or DVD images, controlled by the Management Central. By allowing the presentation of video clips and cable TV, for example, enhances the entertainment of the players and general public.
When the lanes are closed, the Overhead Displays and TMT's can display personalized screensavers. Thus, the bowling can disclose promotions, congratulate a client on a special occasion, recognize happy hour groups, or rent these spaces for advertising, generating an extra income.
The Imply System® also has 3D animations. At each frame, you see a 3D animation corresponding to the score, providing more fun and interactivity. When the player scores a strike, for example, the screen displays an strike animation, contributing to the animation and excitement of the player. Besides the animations provided by Imply®, other animations can be registered at the Management Central.
The software has other facilities. It allows to play a training game, in which each player can determine how many and which pins he wants to hit. If the player identifies a difficulty in hitting the pin 7, for example, he can train with only this pin armed, in order to hit it down. The system also informs the number of attempts and which of them were successful.
CENTRAL
All these technological advances are controlled by the Operations and Management Central, with an user-friendly software with graphic interface that provides a custom control of hours of game and income generated by the lanes and other equipments (pool tables, video games, cyber cafe, etc. .), for the complete management through various administrative and financial reports. The lane ranking report, for example, shows the total time of use and the amount collected. It can reveal which is the Central user who has sold more. These values also can be ordered for easier viewing.
And besides managing the Imply® Bowling Lanes, the Central can also register customers for marketing actions and create mailing lists. It is possible to register different preferences of each client (favorite lane, food, music style, days he usually plays bowling, the shoe number he wears, and so on) and his data (mailing address, date of birth, etc.). The customers register also may be encouraged by offering some advantage.
When a bar order is made through the Terrestrial Terminal, for example, the Central receives it and projects the order on the monitor until the customer is served. Among its multi-functions, the Central also allows to register reservations, calling the person who signed up through a numeric display strategically located at the Bowling Center, when a new lane is free.
The access to the Central is limited by users registration. Through passwords, it is possible to create hierarchies that limit access to certain informations. Users in an equivalent hierarchy can log in without leaving the system, which intelligently allows the overlapping of screens and handling various forms at the same time.
