Bowling returns to Santa Cruz
2004-apr-08 | From this thursday (april, 8th) bowlers and appreciators of the sport will be able to practice the sport again in the town. The Strike Sport Bar will be opened daily from 18h next to Corinthians Sport Club rigth in dowtown. The complex arose from the partnership between the Corinthians Sport Club, the Imply Tecnologia Eletrônica and the Strike Sport Bar and the center has got 6 bowling lanes following international standards, according to the ABC ( American Bowling Congress).
Since the closing of the old Strike last year, the people from the Santa Cruz do Sul and neighbour cities haven´t had the chance to practice the sport very disseminated worldwide. Nowadays there are over 65 millions of bowlers around only in the U.S. where the awards reach thousands of dollars. In the entire world exist about 250 thousand lanes and over 100 millions of bowlers in more than 90 countries, despite 10 millions of competitors.
The establishment is already considered one of the best entertainment center of the south of Brazil. Just like the old Strike, the new one will promote many types of events and bowling classes.
